All that talk about Jimmy never mattering that much to him was a lie because he did at one point care -- or he still did and never showed it. The one that never mattered all that much to Chuck was himself. He's always hated the fact that his parents loved Jimmy more than him, despite his intellect. But unlikely Jimmy who believes people can grow, Chuck deals in absolutes and never sees change. You are your mistakes in Chuck's world -- just like Chuck is all his mistakes. What makes it sad is that he TRIED to see change -- until he self-sabotaged himself. A tragic end for sure.
