You see what you want to see. His father also gave away money. He more than likely gave away most of the money. Jimmy took some money as well. But he surely did not take the whole14K. This is what this episode is showing. And Chuck blames it all on Jimmy this whole time. Don’t forget that at this age jimmy was 9? And Chuck was probably 20ish. Very unstable to have feelings of jealousy and hate like that towards your kid brother. He talks about hating his brother when he was 9 during the court hearing.

2020-06-13 21:54:06 +0000 UTCAfter calling Rich the wrong name at the interview, Kim felt that Rich would be another pseudo-Howard, so she decided to be her own boss by starting her firm. I don't think she was taking a step back in her career since she's now free to do what she truly wants without having to cater to a higher authority. Although Kim would've had a lot going for her had she taken up Rich's offer, I believe she wouldn't be able to pursue her genuine passions as a lawyer. Similar to Jimmy's situation at Davis & Main, although Jimmy had a lot of perks working there, he still felt chained down and wanted to do other things that better fit his vision and slippin' personality. I could be completely wrong, but that's how I see Kim's reasons for not taking up the job offer.
