You ladies put out the best Vinland Saga reviews i've seen on youtube yet. I mean that. You genuinely understand, and appreciate what this show attempts to convey with it's themes. I love that you both chose to see things from Canute's perspective rather than disliking the character from the get go, or calling him a pussy or whatever. You have such a great blend of comedy (anything thirst lol), and seriousness in these Vinland Saga reviews. Haha too often i find myself rewinding during a vinland saga review because of something hilarious one of you said, or did. I've had so much fun! Great discussion at the end. Excited to finish the rest off with you ladies.

It's one of these episodes that make you want to be better. To try more. Makoto Yukimura is one of the best writer in the industry.

This episode was beautiful. One of my favourites of the series for sure. Willibald's (the priest) philosophy about what love is was something i never ever even thought of, it's such an interesting way of viewing what love is. Everything about this episode was stellar, from the voice acting, to the art and animation, to the story writing, to the character dialogue, to the music, to the directing, all of it top tier.

I say this with all the discrimination I can muster: I adore you both. The reactions you've had to this show have been so enjoyable. Not just in the normal, you're fun to watch way but in the appreciation of the story, art form and quiet message of this show. Through all the brutality and ugliness in the world, humanity is at its best when it is thinking of the greater good. Are we selfish at times? Yes. Do we favor those closest to us? Yes but we all have the capacity to put aside our own wants and needs to help the world around us. Some rise to it, some do not but the capacity is there and it really was incredible that the show spoke to that when it didn't have to and so wonderful to see your appreciation of it. As an artist, nothing makes me happier than seeing the message an art piece tries to convey get across. Also: here for all the thirst, the screaming and yes...the gosh darn eagles. :D Be well!
