Really enjoyed the Alluka discussion! Think one thing to note is the fact the rest of her family continuously disregard her gender and refer to her as a "he", which mirrors many nonsupporting parents of trans children. Considering it's our angel Killua who correctly refers to her as she, as well as the one who isn't scared by "Something", I personally read something as an allegory for her transgender identity. It's more likely imo due to Togashi having previously touched upon transgender people in YuYu Hakusho, but failing to hit the mark a bit.
