Do remember, though: in Saul's very first BB episode, he twice suggests they murder Badger and doesn't seem to feel bad about it at all. I keep forgetting what he turns into, but it's definitely not a moral or caring person.

I feel bad for Howard. Chuck forced him to look like a complete asshole instead of just being honest with Jimmy (or, even better, giving him a chance at HHM). Chuck has all the power at that firm; I think the whole show with everyone putting away their electronics and applauding him was more because he was the boss who could ruin the company if he ever decided to sell his bit (and not because they like him as a person). Also, night-time online courses are HARD. You have to set your own schedule and juggle full-time work as well.

I'm sure Chuck is holding Howard hostage financially. When Jimmy brought up threatening to quit, that's what Chuck has already been doing to get Howard to do his bidding.

Chuck is the most evil character in the whole Breaking Bad universe in my opinion! Even the Salamanca's are all about family first haha

Really love how this show handles the human drama of these characters. You guys are right on the money about everything where usually some people could get confused on intention/motivation, you guys are really picking up on subtle character traits which is really impressive! Like I said, you guys are gonna have the best reactions for this show and it'll be extra fun once we get darker and deeper into the story of these characters. Seeing these characters back in Season 1 with all the knowledge I have now honestly brings a tear to my eye. I can't wait for next week! Finale of Season 1 and start of Season 2!!
