If he had Jimmy’s best interests in mind he would try to support him that’s an excuse all that stuff he said about the law and that Jimmy doesn’t respect the law. Part of that is true but I think it’s more jealously and Chuck is trying to justify screwing over his brother who has been taking care of him by saying that he is more honorable. Jimmy saw the seniors being used and wanted to do something to help them now that was honorable even if he takes short cuts.

Can I pose a question to you both an anyone who sees this, (don't need to respond it's just food for thought), Did you think Chuck had a point? Obviously, during his monologue, you could hear that a part of what he was saying and feeling was coming from a jealous place (not good), but when he went to the part about how he felt Jimmy would be an individual/lawyer who would not take the responsibility of the law, aka his profession seriously. A power that "if you don't take it seriously people get hurt" and screwed. Not saying Jimmy doesn't have a good heart and head at times, but speaking objectively he has been shown to be someone who is willing to break the law to get the upper hand or look good. We know what Jimmy becomes and though with that hindsight it doesn't justify what Chuck did cause wrong is still wrong but he was write. I kind of compared it to my as an Engineer if I don't hold to the strict guidelines of that position people could literally die and if someone on the come up has been shown to be a person AT TIMES to cut corners I'm sorry but that's bad. Again I actually think chuck is totally in the wrong you can't judge people by their past but you don't hand a man who's shown to struggle with stealing the keys to the store. This level of understanding between both sides of a conflict is something I’ve seen you guys explore more than other reactors, and it’s great for these kinds of shows. Screw Chuck, though, amirite. Also, did you mean to say “having all his ducks in a row” instead of “having all his eggs in one basket”? Maybe I understand that saying wrong, but I don’t think it would be wise for Jimmy to invest everything on a single venture. Just sayin’ - future lawyer Imon gotta get her phrasing down pat.

Vince Gilligan was around a bit for the creation of the show at the start, but Peter and the writers are the ones carrying the series. During his El Camino interview, Vince said that he only directed a single episode in Season 5 and has no idea how the series is going to end, Peter won't tell him.
