In that moment right there Walt wanted Jesse to die. BTW this is probably the best reaction I’ve seen to this episode

Thank y'alls for sharing this. If you can believe it, it's just as emotional to *watch* people go through that episode as the episode itself, even after years of getting over it.

I know it's not usual for your channel, but It would be great if after the finale and/or between El Camino you guys reacted to a couple of special Breaking Bad things. Like Anthony Hopkins letter to Bryan Cranston.

That’s such a difficult episode to watch. Thanks for both of your reactions and raw emotion. I sincerely believe Walt wanted Jesse dead that’s so sad after all they went through but he was angry and blaming Jesse for betraying him and going to Hank but like you said all of this was Walt’s doing. The phone call you’re right Imon I think he was deflecting all the blame to himself and showing that Skyler was an innocent party in all this knowing people were listening. No matter how smart Walt is it’s not bringing back Hank so devastating. At least Hank knew he did care about him enough to give away his 80 million to save him. So now everything was for nothing except his one barrel. Walt Jr. poor kid he loved Hank like a father.

A fittingly intense reaction for this crazy episode. This was pretty tough to watch. Also nice job catching on to Walt during the phone call scene, didn't think you guys would catch that given how overwhelmed you were.

Wow the emotion from both girls. Im sad this journey with you is coming to the end. Imon is right the scene in the house between walt skylar and junior thee acting was out of thiaa world!!! Knew hiw to tug atvthe emotions. I (love) how Skylar says you killed Hank then Walt admits he s "responsible" by hiss facial expression alone then only denies it once she repeats and Junior geta involved. Hank meant something to him so him outing Jesse was in a warped way he DID blame Jesse (Jesse snitched on him to DEA, he snitches on him to the Nazis) in his thinking he thinks thats fair and also he is angry and emotional. Hence why his confession of Janes death. (even though he feels guilty about it i. E. see Fly episode) anyways
Two more episode :(

Walt absolutely blamed Jesse. Going to the police is the worst possible thing you can do for people in that world. I mean look at someone like Hector, who was continually tortured by Gus and had literally his entire family murdered while Gus taunted him to his face. Yet Hector still never went to the police. That's how warped these people's heads are, that they see snitching as a far worst crime than even murdering one's entire family and torturing them.

As heavy as this episode is, it's great that you are still trying to understand where Walt's motives are at. It's a testament to the amazing storytelling and writing this show delivers. Believe it or not, there is still more character evolution. Also, remember why this show is called Breaking Bad.

I think this episode is when Walt definitively broke bad. Every horrible thing he’s done, he’s been able to use mental gymnastics to justify those actions with “for my family”. Telling Jesse he watched Jane die served no other purpose than to hurt Jesse. Walt definitely meant for Jesse to be killed at that moment which is why he snitched on his hiding spot. He probably figured being tortured by budget Matt Damon was a fate worse than death.
Kidnapping Holly was an emotional reaction by Walt, but calling Skylar was a calculated decision in order to free her of his crimes.
