For me it's easy to see why he struggled so much about what to do about gotoh. He was really thinking about life as a whole. What does it mean to live? What is the importance of all life? Then you have these parasites who invade his city and he even forms a bond with one. He lost his mom to one. He saw a parasite in the end become a true mother willing to die for her child and ultimately not killing it even though they're directive from day one was to kill and eat humans. On the flip side though abi is definitely warranted in her opinion. This thing is just killing indiscriminately for no good reason other than he can so yeah take him out!
It is interesting to think about. We as humans kill other species everyday. Even to the point of extinction and no harm comes upon us simply because we are superior, but at the same time if another species harms us we kill it with no question. In that sense if we try to attack the parasites don't they have every right to kill us? Too much thinking for me lol.

I am hella behind on all your parasyte reactions, but the amount of times you've had to constantly defend your point of views is astounding. Isn't the whole point of watching your reactions is to get a different opinion on events that take place? There have been a few things I have disagreed with on a few episodes sure, but we're different people with different life experiences that change our perception and feelings on things. I want to hear your thoughts on it and why you feel that way. I want to know what other people see when they view media that I really like, especially a show that is close to my heart. Anyway, keep up the good work, I don't comment much but I enjoy your reactions! :D

This scene from Shinichi reminds me of Vash from Trigun. I low-key didnt like Vash a whole lot for that reason because of how passive he was of not killing ppl. With him having that mindset ppl he knew got killed and innocents died as well. SPOILER FOR THOSE WHO HAVENT WATCHED TRIGUN. I JUST FINISHED THE SERIES A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO!!! This scene from Parasyte compared a lot of scenes from Trigun. And btw I understand parasytes message. Humans are like parasytes from how we treat other species. Hunter x Hunter also had the same ideals with the Chimera Ant. So I get the comparison of humans and parasytes. For a better picture the parasytes are the new humans on Earth and humans are now the cows and pigs in the parasytes perspective. Now I don't 100% agree with the statement cause I love humanity lol but I understand and get what there saying and it does make sense.
