2019-11-26 20:25:48 +0000 UTCHxH vs FMA B writing , I think FMA B is a lot more consistent and has better pacing and more involved plot and just overall it is alot more polished show . HxH on the other hand I think its a lot more inconsistent, the highs are very high but the lows are low. And Togashis writing style can be too self indulgent and completelty overshadows character drama. But , what HxH has an edge over FMA , is character writing and dynamics . Character arcs and overall dialogue i think its much better in HxH

Nothing will top that anytime soon. It's not just the sheer trauma of the scene, but how it developed into it. By making you care for each character and understand their motivations, it only drives the dagger deeper into your heart.

Its appeal is that it's emotionally driven, and a rehash of everything we loved about shounen as kids. It's not known for being complex in any manner.
