"How is there a fifth season?" I think everyone felt that way at this point in the show, but there's nothing but excellence until the very end. Even with what happened with Ted, if the IRS didn't receive their money, they would still reopen the investigation. They are going to find the money at almost any cost regardless of what happens to the person being investigated. (or at least try and find out what exactly went wrong with the books) They would likely still investigate everyone who was involved with Ted's books for the purpose of looking for someone who contributed. (like Skyler)
