It's funny that this actually goes over a lot of peoples heads. I was talking with a friend who watched the series as it aired, read the comments and discourse on it, watched El Camino, and I mentioned this to him and his mind was blown. He never considered it. But Imon and Abi did joke earlier that Gus might have had a thing for Walt, so the idea probably wasn't entirely lost on them.

There's a flashback that shows what Hector and Eladio were doing just before the meeting in this episode where Hector says "Chicken Brothers? More like Butt Brothers" which paired with the "these guys like what they see" in this episode pretty much says Hector at least thinks they're gay.
