I think it was a great ending not answering every question, leaves it up for speculation and makes it so you have to watch season 2 for the answers.

What happened to part 1 of this? I was going to drop in and point out that "Belize" as a metaphor for going away is actually an Easter egg/reference to season 5 of Breaking Bad

I am super interested on how they are going to do the Black Noir story line and if it will follow the comic because that's some craziness.

It was never confirmed, it was that old Dr. he went to see the first time, who lied about it dying so very likely lied about how long it took to be born.

The Deeeeeeep!!! Poor fish man. He really got the raw end of the story. Have y’all seen Umbrella Academy? If not, would y’all consider reacting to it?

I think you’re on to something. What Vogelbaum says is important. He stated that Rebecca got pregnant with a super. Not that the baby was manufactured, but a legitimate genetic supe. I think Vought kept the eye on the prize and convinced Becca to follow their plan to fake her death. I don’t think Becca or Vought thought that Butcher would hold so much resentment in him. Becca likely thought he’d see it as a tragedy and move on. Also, if she did have a thing for Homelander, then what better prize than a kid from him and financial security for the rest of her days courtesy of her employer. She did my boy Butcher wrong.

I think Becca went to Vought when she found out she was pregnant because she was scared. (Glowing stomach, I be scared too.) And they helped her but forced her to disappear. Remember what the doctor said about how Homelander should have been raised with a family? I think like Stilwell, Vought is scared of how little control they have over Homelander so they wanted a supe like him that wasn't a psycho.

Was that said specifically in the show that the baby grew in a week? Because I don't remember hearing that. That still doesn't change my opinion on the shadiness of it all and keeping it from her husband

How could she have aborted when the baby grew in like a week and has super powers?
