Fall Live Action Poll!

I've really enjoyed your reactions on youtube. Signed up to vote for the Expanse, probably too late though. The Expanse never wins these polls unfortunately because it is such an underrated gem of a series. Probably the best series I've seen in the last 10 years if not more. Even if it doesn't win the poll I highly recommend doing it. Any reactor that has taken that leap of faith, hasn't regretted it, and has become a total fan of the series, at least from my experiences. If you like SciFi and Fantasy, and appreciate a good long story arc like GoT, with real 3 dimensional, dynamic characters, you should to do the Expanse. The novels were written by two people that used to work for GRR Martin, and the TV series is one of GRR Martins favourites. It ran for 3 seasons on SyFy, before being cancelled, due to not having the streaming rights. The fans then rallied and launched a huge campaign and convinced Amazon to pick it up. Season 4 is now in post-production and will be released later this year. Set 200 years in the future, Humanity has colonised the solar system. You have Earth which has depleted its resources and is grossly overpopulated. You have Mars, who are an independent state, who are trying to terraform Mars. And then you have the 'Belt' and the moons of Jupiter and Saturn, inhabited by the 'Belters' who are exploited and provide resources to the inner planets. Tensions are rising, and the system is on the verge of war. Against this backdrop, you have basically a film noir detective story involving a police detective on Ceres trying to find a missing daughter of a hyperwealthy family. Picture Game of thrones, combined with Battlestar Galactica, with a dash of a 1950's Film Noir detective tale, and you get one of the best series ever produced. As well you have a very active fanbase, that is incredibly hungry for any Expanse content while we wait for Season 4 to come out. There are only a handful of reactor that have done it, but they have all seen large increases in viewers on the back of it. For example, The Normies get got about 15,000-20,000 views per episode when they covered it. And this is only going to get bigger as Amazon starts to promote it. First couple of episodes some people think are a bit slow as there is a lot of 'world building' but 4-5 episodes in it goes up a gear and never slows down. Amazon just announced the Season 4 release date for December and the teasers look incredible(Don't look at them because of spoilers) And they have announced that its renewed for Season 5 even before Season 4 is out. Alot of the current reactors for the show are finishing up season 3 now, so there is a big audience craving Expanse material, to fill the gap until Season 4 comes out in December.

All the currently aired shows are review and binge worthy, Orphan Black not getting the love isn't shocking since it was out a while ago, but it's great just to watch Tatiana Maslany kick some acting ass. The Expanse is my current favorite. Haven't watched peaky blinders yet so i need to get on that.

Damn, looks like The Expanse won't win. I hope i will see it one day on this channel, cuz it's one of the best shows of all time right now. (Btw it's always weird when people vote shows which isn't even out yet like Watchmen). Anyway, i hope it's Peaky Blinders then.
