Season stopped here because the manga hasn't completed the current arc yet. Season 3 will be great and complete like Season 1 and you'll see plenty from many characters like Zombieman and Atomic Samurai. Still would have liked some better directing so the viewers knew what to expect from Season 3. Good scenes from the manga they could have adapted as a final scene this season but S2 was sadly a rush job.

Anime had a script to work with but for whatever internal reason the studio had to rush making each episode. When Ep.1 came out they were still making ep 2&3. Normally studios have most if not the entire season done before it airs.

2019-07-30 19:02:26 +0000 UTCI agree with y’all. I enjoyed the season, but it felt very bare. Lots of possible scenarios to elaborate on, but nothing is done with it. Honestly, I think it has to do with the source material. The author has a website in which he posts his drawings which are super bare bones and typically just sketched and builds a story with that. The script writers for the show know the direction of the story, but they have to fill in the details. It’s a hard job to do right. In any case, I enjoyed the journey with y’all.
