It certainly set it in motion, but I don't think he's accepted it at this point yet, as seen by him trying to turn down Gus. He's clearly still in denial, but past the point of no return.

Skylar confronting Walt and Jesse in the rehab: Green, a color that Walt was usually sporting in previous seasons... signifying change? Jesse after rehab: Black. Owning his role as "the bad guy" Walt: Black almost throughout, mourning the dead on the plane and struggling to find ways to deal with a rationalize his role in the catastrophe. Walt, after talking to Jesse: White, but with dark stripes. Trying not to be the bad guy, turning down the business opportunity with Gus, trying to shape up and be good. Marie: Wearing more purple than a grape. The Twins: Silver suits. Silver is a metallic color, the color of bullets, and a perfect balance between black and white. These are not men concerned with morality. The death they bring is just a fact of life.

2019-05-24 02:04:17 +0000 UTCI love that Imon had that reaction at the end where she said that she respected Sky for not turning in Walt because Walt is a good man with good intentions. It's going to seem later that I'm calling her out, but I really do get where she's coming from and totally relate. A lot of this show has to deal with intentions, actions, and consequences. Walt making and distributing Meth is a huge evil, but it's an easy one to overlook because it doesn't happen in front of you, and it makes victims out of people that choose to accept it, but every episode we see the consequences of these choices... choices made for unselfish and very relatable reasons. To provide for his one family, he undermines and destroys countless others. By providing for his family he's poisoning the community, was happy to enrich violent criminals like Tuco, enrich corrupt men like Saul Goodman who defend and empower other criminals... Good intentions, bad actions, terrible consequences. You don't have to look far in our own world to see this in real life. So seeing this "good man" and seeing the consequences of what this good man does and how much he knowingly contributes... can we really call him a good man? For some, the answer is yes... for some, no.

2019-05-24 01:38:31 +0000 UTCAbout the shot where they walked away from the blast because cool guys don't look at explosions was in fact real and done in one take. Truck was set on fire, they walked away casually and didn't react when the actual truck blew up. They used a long focus lens that made it appear the actors were closer than they actually were but I still flinch if a door closes to hard so kudos to them.

2019-05-24 01:32:18 +0000 UTCRegarding the eye, that's just something Walt keeps with him throughout season three to remind himself about the flight and the people (including children) that died. The significance of the eye specifically is that it's obviously something that belonged to a kid.
