I'll even go so far as to say it's great despite what the others say (mostly from manga readers) but to give y'all a suggestion, I'd say watch Parayste The Maxim. It's similar to Tokyo Ghoul in some ways and the manga was made back in the 90s (10/10). It was only animated a few years back and with around 20+ episodes I'd say it's waaaaaayyy better than all 3-4 seasons of Tokyo Ghoul. Really, it's one of the only animes that I gave a 10/10 rating. Kept me at the edge of my seat EVERY SINGLE EPISODE! Hope y'all take it to consideration :)

2019-04-15 02:14:47 +0000 UTCI'd say it's worth it to continue watching because it isn't very confusing if you haven't read the manga. But you should treat the finale as the end of that series, regardless if you go to watch season 3. The only reason people find season 3 confusing is because of season 2 and because it's really fast paced (like 4-6 chapters per episode, even more in the second half).
