It isn't so simple to pick one though because I am assuming they will obviously have access to my email and password which is very private to me and that is a huge deal. The other thing is Abi and I try to watch 2-4 episodes a week so we are usually a couple episodes ahead but because of our busy schedules there is no way to watch all the seasons and then start releasing them out. That would mean a huge pause on the AoT reactions. And I don't want to do that. I think the comments being disabled help a lot. Our channel isn't only about AoT we have other videos on here and we want to interact with you guys as much as possible. I have been doing a good job of that for almost 3 years and I don't want that taken away. I really want to keep myself immersed in the channel as much as possible..So I understand and hear your suggestions. Abi and I will discuss this and figure out what to do from here. We are still going to enjoy the show! SO no worries on that !

Honestly though, Im on the side of just shutting down the comments. Married2thereal had a huge issue about this on both patreon and youtube.

2018-11-07 02:46:23 +0000 UTCThere is a feature on youtube which lets you assign moderators who will only have power to delete comments. They won't get your password or any other data and you get a list of the comments they have deleted, so you basically have total control over it.

It makes me really sad because AoT is one of the few shows where you can re-watch episodes and pick up on so much stuff you didn't see before and discussing that and what you loved or was funny about the reaction is half the fun of watching a reaction vid, at least for me.

As a mod, the only ability we are given is the power to delete comments from the comment section of Youtube and block people in the Live Chat of Youtube Live Streams. We don't have any access to a Youtuber's private information or have any control over their account. If you are interested, I could try to help mod for you on Youtube as well.
