Aoyama would be such a troll if he was the mole, but plot wise it almost makes the most sense, seeing how no one knew where Aoyama was during the USJ incident, and he had that line "its a secret" I would eat my socks if he was the mole, but if its a student I go with him - I don't think its a student though.

Also I'm pretty sure that Dark Shadow going out of control was hinted at this season when they first talked about the scaring game cause Tokoyami kept saying "revelry in the dark" to himself like he was concerned about not being able to control Dark Shadow.

I think they'll do a bait and switch where Bakugo is offered a villain role and he refuses, otherwise it's just too telegraphed (oh, the guy who's been screaming "die" and "I'll kill you" ends up being a villain?). But I'm pretty sure he and Muscular are related, they're drawn too similarly not to be.

I know people like to suspect Monoma (class B's asshole) which seems predictable. But I thought it was weird that there was a scene where he's speaking at the same time as Aizawa, when he's running out of the extra lessons classroom? Monoma's idly commenting on the situation saying "what?? I thought this place was supposed to be secret??" which seems shadily innocent?? idk maybe I'm overthinking the scene - might be a long shot. There just hasn't many any noticeable instances of a 2 characters talking at the same time with different dialogue, so I can't help but think it means something somehow being a conscious choice of the writers/animators.

That is correct. Though this may be made a little clearer in the next episode, since the manga explains this a little more carefully in the chapter following Dark Shadow's appearance.

I think Shoji tried to grab Tokoyami and jump out of the way of a villains attack (like he did with Midoriya in that final scene). Because Tokoyami was in complete darkness under Shoji's arms dark shadow went out of control.

I didn't read the manga, but there's been speculation that Kaminari is the traitor because of the comms over his ear at all times. It's only a speculation though

I'm not sure how old you two are but you have to be close to the same age as me if your going pull out a Homeward Bound reference lol (I'm 27 btw). Another great reaction. The amount of work Deku has put in during this fight can't be understated. With him being so beat up, I wonder how he and Shouji are gonna handle Dark Shadow. I'm curious what you guys think of the individual villain so far. I realize at the moment you guys are actively rooting against them but in terms of design and personality how would you rank all the villains we've seen thus far in the series. If that's too ridiculous of a question could you just list the top 3-5 of this arc, unless you just dislike all of them?

Before I say anything I’m not a manga reader so these are just my theories. I think the mole has to be a student because Aizawa made an effort to keep the location of the training camp a secret from the other teachers. All might wasn’t even told that’s why he wasn’t able to come in and save the day like last time. If I HAD to guess anyone I’m going with either Aoyama or the invisible girl. Idk I feel like we should be paying attention to them

I've always seen Bakugou as a mini Endeavor. He is exceptional in combat abilities but he has many issues with his temper and his obsession with being number one. Remember the decade of psycological and physical abusiveness towards Deku; it's not hard to see how Bakugou could end up like Endeavor in the future. I'm not a Kacchan-hater, but the boy needs to get it together and calm down.

Tokoyami lost control of dark shadow due to his rage at seeing shoji lose his arm. That is my guess from what i remember of the manga and what this episode implies.

"We were ambushed by villains, and I covered us, but that triggered the quirk that he'd been desperately trying to hold back..." -Shoji So most likely because of his hand

So Tokoyami was trying to supress his quirk,this is why he was saying revelry in the dark.When the villains attacked,it triggered his quirk,hence why he couldnt control it after dark shadow came out.
