I have had insomnia for years. I am neurodivergent and recently, diagnosed on the autistic spectrum. I discoverd ASMR like most things on youtube (because Im an youtube dinossaur): The Fine bros before they tried making "react to things for the first time" a brand. It wasnt even a trend, really (in my days, I know, geez). I discovered a lot of the korean culture through there, tbh, but ASMR was a gift. I would go days with no sleep sometimes. There are whole studies on how that's bad for people and, you know...They are absolutely right. My skin was awful, my hair was terrible, my mood? Don't even get me started. I explored every genre of ASMR that people can imagine and there is some weeeeeird things out there. I know Im not alone in knowing these. Yikes. ASMR became comfort. Part of my therapy. But I had no idea it would also help me soothe my loneliness. As I said, Im neurodivergent. As I believe many of us are, there is nothing special about me. It's just...because of it, Ive managed to botch many of my irl relationships. It's hard. I will be full on candid here. It gets...really lonely. Not just in the more "spicy" aspect of it, no. Romantically. Being loved and cared for. I've listen to quite a few of these bf asmr audios. I have playlists of them on youtube. Sometimes I dont even listen to those, I prefer the ones in which I get ready for the dates or something. Because many of them make me feel weird. I dont know. I never thought I'd spend on anyone's patreon. Like...ever. This is the first time, I think. Don't quote me on it, my memory isnt the actual best and Im impulsive buyer when im sleepy. But I do feel like you, Binnie (I wanted to use a honorific but Im scared to use it wrong and embarrass myself), have the kind of voice that actually lulls me into comfort. I wont go through the specifics of how I feel because I do listen to the spicy ones and I, again, dont want to make a fool of myself...but I feel safe listening to your voice. I hardely ever feel safe. Online or not. Even if I dont win this (which I wont, because I just realised this giveaway is over), Id like to take the opportunity to at least say I aprecciate the time and effort you put into it all. Many people make fun of ASMR. They have no clue of how much it helps... Sorry for the long text. But also...thank you.

I can't recall exactly what the Tik Tok was but a couple months had passed and I think I stumbled across a YouTube video and I'm like wait, I remember seeing him before. At that point I had already joined Discord for a group that I listen to and so I entered Binnie's but didn't talk until after I had my car accident later that year. I'm so grateful for the comfort Binnie's voice gives me and the wonderful person he is. Also, the love and support from his community is something I'll cherish forever.

2024-01-31 22:12:44 +0000 UTCi discovered you through youtube in 2019-ish. i used to listen to korean ear massages asmr a lot as it helped soothing my mind. through continuous suggestions i came across your channel and it had a title something similar to “korean boyfriend something sleep” (i don’t remember the exact title). i heard your audio and the way your voice calmed me down, i got obsessed. i started listening to more audios, it also helped me in learning korean. i used to feel proud when i could understand you without looking at the subtitles. i think those were the times when you also used to post some nsfw or “leading to nsfw content” and part 2 would be on patreon. being financially unable, i couldn’t get a patreon subscription. i have grown a lot these 4 years and i can proudly say that i’m able to subscribe to you. thank you for giving me peace with your voice. thank you for calming me down when i couldn’t sleep. thank you for being there with me when others weren’t. as much as you’ve given us comfort, i hope us fans also do the same. love, kee xoxo

But then one day, you were on my feed on Instagram . All of a sudden and out of the blue. Your voice immediately captivated me and I wanted to find the person with that voice. That was 4 years ago and your voice still has this special effect on me. It doesn't matter whether it's 3 dio, emotional or spicy audios. Your voice has something special and I love that.
