Certain species of anemones can photosynthesize, due to a symbiotic relationship with algae, which live within its cells.
Certain species of anemones also reproduce by cloning, forming large colonies of identical individuals, which will attack any other encroaching anemone colonies.
Their tentacles are equipped with harpoon-like weapons, which inject poison into their prey/enemies. Most species are harmless to humans.
There are a couple species of sea anemone that can swim by folding their stalk back and forth. It's not very efficient.
