Got a little experimental with the backgrounds, trying to come up with a quick way to do them that looks nice. I scribbled them out pretty loosely with some more painterly brushes, then used the median filter to simplify/sharpen them. I kind of like the way it looks here, especially given it took me less time than it usually takes to find/integrate a good public domain photo. The technique needs work, though!
