In light of Patreon's recent policy updates, I am strongly considering switching from Patreon to SubscribeStar. Nothing is changing just yet, but I will most likely begin the process of migrating in the next few months.
I'd go into more detail about what's up with that, but I'm a little paranoid in case the platform may tag keywords. Overall I'm not massively concerned for my own behalf, as my violations are fairly sparse and unassuming, but it is something I'd prefer not to have to worry about when an alternative platform is available. Plus I don't love the idea of supporting a website that is becoming increasingly hostile toward NSFW artists.
To be clear, I don't intend to change the type of content that I draw. I will comply with takedown requests if they come in. In the event I do decide to migrate to Subscribe star, I will remain active on both platforms for a period of time to give people a chance to switch over if they choose to do so. It will also give me a chance to make a few changes here and there. I'm considering changing the prices of tiers, most likely from $3-$5-$15 to $1-$5-$20, and am also planning to connect a Discord server.
I'd love to get some feedback on stuff before I make the switch, so I've made a form for anyone to fill out if they have the time! You don't have to be a paid subscriber to fill it out, either.
