Power's still out, but drawing these has definitely helped me warm up to the tablet i'm using! Things are weird and I'm tired so I'm letting myself take it slow. Gave myself a chance to do some coloring this time!
Crabs are weird and hard to draw, but also very interesting!
FUN FACTS:
- Their carapace stops growing at adulthood, but their legs never stop.
- Young/small crabs will camouflage themselves by placing algae and sponges and other animals on their shells, and letting them form colonies on their backs.
- Their Japanese name is "Takaashigani," which literally translates to "Tall legs Crab."
- They can live up to 100 years
- They can lay up to 1.5 million eggs in one go!
