Life changing decision... for all of us
Added 2022-06-03 17:20:49 +0000 UTCEvery decision determines the course of your life. The main reason for our road trip was to have a deep dive into all the regions Montenegro has to offer and figure out what we really want and how to fit it into our life's, ambitions and dreams.
5 years ago we put a big white canvas on the table and started designing and we knew from the beginning we would love to ground somewhere, not with the Perfect Sense of course ;)
So as our sailing life has been incredible, we are looking into a hybrid solution right now and as most of you know renovating a ruin is something that has always been on our wish list. We will continue with our plans crossing the Atlantic and setting sail to Patagonia to arrive there in summer time - which is winter time where we are now.
But we will fit in some land time in between, with a place where we have almost the same feeling of freedom as with sailing, where we can further build our business foundation, where Gerben can start his entrepreneurial endeavours and evenly important where Benjamin can explore land life, school and have friends he sees on a regular basis - at least what we consider to be regular ;)
And to be honest, Montenegro is so divers and is so beautiful that we will have years of exploring and adventures - as you will see in this new episode.
How everything exactly will unfold, we don't know, Have we found our home as the end goal of our circumnavigation has always been about? No, we don't think so. But we did find a place where we can have a foundation for the years up ahead and for our family and business that is also relatively close and easy reachable for friends and family back home.
