Do you remember when I (Gerben) went up to the mountains when Rianne and I had a fight?

My goal during my walk through the mountains was to find a place where I could spend the night, I had a bottle of water and a warm jumper and that was it. No phone, no wallet. So I walked for four hours and finally found a beautiful spot almost on top of the mountain at an old ruin. I climbed on the roof of the ruin because I knew there were snakes on the island. I settled down and created a kind of place to sleep, overthinking my life and the real reason why I got so angry. At that moment I realised I had no phone and if something would happen there was no life line because nobody knew where I was.

After an hour watching the horizon I heard some sounds far away and decided to start walking towards it, after 10 minutes of walking I entered a plot of land on a valley with some men working on it, they welcomed me and it turned out one man was  actually living there with his family, his lady  and the kids just left before I came. Actually I was disturbing the men because they were constructing a pizza oven from clay. So I decided to start helping them and talk during the work. Started digging the ground, putted it in the wheelbarrow and so on... We had such an interesting talk about life and the reason why. 

Then I realised It was getting dark and  it was not a good idea to leave Rianne and Benjamin on the boat behind anchor not knowing where I would be. Luckily one of the men knew a shortcut to walk back to the bay in 45 minutes instead of 4 hours so I left the plot and walked back.

When I came back on the boat with some fresh picked mountain flowers and apologised towards Rianne about my behaviour I told her my adventures and then we decided to go back, to ask the family if we could film them, to meet the lady of the land, her name is Fleur and the Wild Herbs, she is from Haarlem the Netherlands and she showed us around, why they are living completely remote and off the grid for already more than 8 years together with her Swiss husband and three kids.

We believe the universe connected the dots because we have some new life long friends who ignited us without knowing to start with our project Feel the Breeze Homes even sooner than later.
