You did good Bog- a good example to have of Disparate Impact being enforced is it’s usually tied to funding. No child left behind is a good example- Arrests of students must be proportional to get funding (this is why Trayvon Marin was not in jail already). 2- his point about other countries not having immigration but still suffering from unemployment is misplaced because it’s due to globalization (exporting the jobs instead of importing the labor) 3- finally it was REALLY interesting how y’all had some agreement when it came to cars. A lot of these people want to live beautiful lives but they’ve been misinformed that “science” can lead them there. Countering their material arguments with appeals to beauty is very powerful.
