Added 2019-04-14 19:01:51 +0000 UTCIt's my dad's birthday, so I painted him a wallpaper for his new computer that my brother built for him. I'll admit I only had a day left to work on this, so this is pretty much a day's work. I wish I could do more, but I hope he'll dig it anyways!
At first I tried matte painting the bridge, then ended up painting over a photo. Then I tried painting over photos of the crew, but ended up drawing them with heavy reference instead. Ended up blurring the thing to give it a bit of a dreamy quality but it makes things look too soft.
tl;dr I wish I was more efficient in my art process.
