I think the reason the crowd was like that in the first clip is mostly just a cultural difference, with Japanese people not being as outgoing and energetic in public on average, and they probably like to focus on what's happening more than partying and feeling a connection to the crowd around them, because they're a more introverted society. I don't think there's anything wrong with that, and they might even appreciate it more just really focusing on what they're watching and not wasting energy on trying to appear excited for the people around them. And with it being Kcon there are probably some people who aren't diehard wavs as well and they are just going to a lot of different events
