Joy was an incredible presence; what a sexy woman, I loved how she teased Craig (some foreshadowing for the relationship between Ari and Jason - names pending - in "His Sister's Revenge"?). I can't wait to see how Shannon takes Joy's place... maybe not just replacing Joy with Ron but also taking taking a cue from Joy and taking Craig firmly in hand? God I love how Shannon's grown in just 3 short chapters, I can't wait to see her continue to evolve. And Craig has so much to thank Ron for... the job, but much more so for taking care of Shannon in ways Craig just isn't equipped for, physically or psychologically. I'm excited to see how Craig's appreciation for Ron manifests... I'm not remotely gay but there's something very natural and real about seeing a white boyfriend properly respectful, even awed, by Black men's sexual superiority. Size, of course, but strength, stamina, and especially sensuality - and let's not forget size! Black sexuality can be intimidating in such a delicious way.
