Floorboards and loam fast friends beneath you; the dusting of gold coins from hundreds of different kingdoms brittle, each denomination from a domination of an empire now dusted and dead.
For those looking to barter for books in a smaller, less otherworldly setting, there is Grim Grimoires, a smalltime merchant of books. Less otherworldly and grand than the bibliothèque, the greatest scribes here have fleshy hands and a stoop, and some of the greatest threats to adventurers is merely the opening of a Firestarter tome.
