In this last set is the thieves guild's stronghold! Situated on a defensible crook of an island, the fortress offers good views, defensible crenellations, unwelcoming palisades and rickety battlements from which one can peer at, or snipe at, strangers.
Within the walls is a small living quarter, and armory and a bean-counter's workspace.
At night, shafts of moonlight offer a somewhat romantic view of thieving life.
And finally, for those who want a smaller, cleaner outpost, there's the garrison! Situated on a small outcropping with on way in and out, this newer addition to the river is meant to stop and scrub visitors with the least amount of manpower possible. In it is the bare trappings needed to support the guards, and braziers to keep out the dark.
