In this set we set our sights higher still! Far above the battlefield is a bone cliff that overlooks it, and these lich-clawed paths have hosted cultists from time immemorable indeed.
Cloudy nights with gibbous moons see cultists tracing strange patterns on these peculiar structures, with that red medium they are most fond of:
If your party had chosen to venture past those gates instead, we may just reach a two-part map with a small buried desert town and a sealed pit to the north of it. Only the elevated roofs of the town remains, and pieces of someone's makeshift defense against its northern enemies.
The path from town to mine, however, are ringed by ominous formations that don't look quite, well, like rock...
As usual, rune-and cursed versions apply!
