Dungeons Set 8 - Other Worlds

Hey folks!

This month we've got two sets up, back-to-back. We're sorry we went missing last month! One of us is down sick again, so things got delayed pretty dramatically. But on the plus side, we ended up with extra time to polish this month's set - so there's a pretty big group of maps coming right up.

This set has some ethereal, ungrounded areas that we got requests for, featuring otherworldly areas that your party can warp to, or serve as illusion battlemaps.

Ideally we think they'd connect from the portal where we last left on Batch 07, but we've prepared a Hall of Mirrors for all your warping needs as well.

The map lineup for this set includes:

Hall of Mirrors

This hallway is partly grounded in the dungeon's aesthetics, and part puzzle: which of the mirror leads forward?

Wisp Tree

For this one, we went off with the idea of a world tree made entirely out of wispy clouds, where the ground itself melt as quickly as snow. There's alternate versions of it as well, with a Fey-tinged colors.

Quicksilver Lakes

The Quicksilver Lakes is an underwater-themed map, where lakes meet quicksand -- and it's as mercurial and gooey as Kraken's back. The lakes light up at night, and strange runes can be seen in the water...

Above the Clouds

This one is a more typical take on the world tree idea, where you get to walk on the twisted and gnarled back of a million-(or minute-old)-trees!

Rivers of the Sun

And finally, for this batch, and otherworldly volcanic crater where lava boils in between ashen rivers. There's no safe path through this one, which shouldn't matter because they're illusions, aren't they? Now, to explain the smell of burning leather boots.
