Photo/Paint Editing 001

I have tried to paint and photo edit at various times over the years but they never work out as well as I hope.  I've never been very good at painting and practice never seems to improve that.  If I start with a foundation to work with I can kind of fake it.  This image is a mix of women and I can't for the life of me remember the name of the one who is the face at the moment.  In any case here are 3 variations of text, starting with the most autistic and then dialing it back to something a bit more "normal" sounding.    The cramped text might work over the course of several images, but getting the concept onto an image is the point of that first, obsessive, pass at dialogue.  Or monologue in this case.

For whatever reason I have an affinity for "monologuing to an off camera observer" as a framework.  It has allowed me to break out of my narrative prison style of thinking a bit and just make random conceptual images I can fiddle with over time.

I don't know if anyone will enjoy this kind of thing very much.  Generally speaking I don't care for morphing, editing, and several other methods of shortcut art, but I still have to balance time versus a need to actually make things.  I may upload more things this evening, but I've got some IRL things going on that I can't ignore.  If not tonight then it will be in the next couple of days as I sort things out.

To make a photo edit look good takes a bit of skill since you still have to apply some knowledge. Sometimes a good edit really hits but I guess it's to the person's taste. I'm also a fan of the monologues since we can fit ourselves as the person said round lady is talking to. It's fun.
