The Incredible Shrinking Alex.

I made this little series of images mostly because I got the idea for the first one then wanted to keep playing with the idea and the text I had landed on. I'm not sure if she's actually trying to stop herself from shrinking or if it's all in her mind. Either way could be interesting. I like the idea that she's slowly "deflating" and overcompensating to the point that she's becoming massive though. I might actually take these images and rework them to help fill out the Halloween comic I've been struggling to finish for 5 years or however long it's been. Also, I very much intended that pun.

With this particular concept I kind of like the idea that she's getting smaller every so often in little jolts, but as she eats more she grows in very big ones. After she shrinks she gets very panicked and really gorges until she starts to feel safe, then the process repeats for all eternity, or whatever.

I don't know what the underlying cause is. Magic, science, cosmic rays, that's something I would need to decide on for my own peace of mind later, but generally I find people don't care in the short term.

Anyway, I'll probably continue with this on and off as the mood strikes me. Hopefully you are inspired by the idea in some way at the very least.
