Joni & The Belly Of Legend

These are from the original comic Phenomnomnom that I used to make the Muffintop comic Free Samples. Carol's size is a little fluid since I didn't establish a strong chronology as the original idea changed over time. So in a more finished version she might be smaller or larger to fit the actual continuity. This is more like me just getting a concept on to "paper" so I don't forget the beats Iike. The original cast Jo as a sort of quasi magical devil with a few underlings with a faux Japanese theme. Joni, Nioni, Koni, etc. Why I didn't make Carol an oni as well I don't know. I guess she was a hapless human who stumbled into Joni's plan to find the belly of legend who could grow to sizes she only dreamed of. I recast it all for Free Samples for reasons too boring to explain. Also I don 't want to. The Candi persona is functionally the exact same character with a more modern human coat of paint. I made Carol Holly in that to distance it from my normal work a bit, but the pretense is getting sillier and sillier as time goes on. Anyway, I'll probably come back to this again and again as well because it never felt finished and I like messing with it.
