It is very rare for me to get along with other artists. It has been my experience that if you have nothing to offer them they will ignore you, or treat you with thinly veiled contempt. By some minor miracle I reached out to Berggie years ago & we became friends. Over time we have traded art back & forth, & I always intended to ask if I could post it here. Most of it is already in his gallery on his patreon. https://www.patreon.com/berggie If you are here there's a good chance you should also be pledging to him. In any case, I finally got around to asking him after we had been out of contact for quite some time. I'll be presenting the images with a little minor commentary & what memories I have that precipitated the exchanges. They won't be preseneted in chronological order in many cases.
This series of images were sort of him doing his own thing. He enjoys a very small subject getting very big, so Jo was very tempting to him since she is a petite beauty. I tend not to think of her in these kinds of situations because I generally see her as an instigator rather than a subject, so an outside view of things changed my perspective a bit. This isn't something I would've thought of myself on the face of it, but I was happy to see it never the less. This was presented as a mini narrative.
These are not the first images he drew of Jo in a similar state, they were inspired by something he made earlier based on a ghost of a framework of an idea I showed him.
If I had been more involved in this I would very likely have, very predictably, chosen Carol, or Alex, as the subject & it would be very much more of the same old same old I am often guilty of.
