She was 9 around the time her father was already exposed to Pandora's Box. Did they say Faust was experimenting on her? I can't remember. Wouldn't he just stick with best matches until he finds the BM for the others? The fact they have to sell toys makes the most sense to me.

Also, another reason why Sento doesn't always use the best matches is that he doesn't have a best match for all the bottles yet, so if he wants to use Panda's powers he has to use it without a best match.

2025-09-04 08:18:42 +0000 UTCThe toy reason makes a lot of sense. I guess thats fair for the mad scientist bit but kind of goes against wanting to help people. You'd think he would use the optimal matches to get the job done.

2025-09-04 06:32:34 +0000 UTCThe obvious reason is to promote the toys as other have pointed out, but in world, I personally believe it also emphasize Sento's personality. We're dealing with a MC who is also a scientist (arguably borderline mad scientist), of course he'd love to experimenting new stuffs, even if they're not the optimal matches.
