2025-08-25 00:55:26 +0000 UTCEarly on in Kamen Rider, women were almost never a rider, and if they were, it was only a short time. Some exceptions happened here and there, particularly around the 2nd half of the Heisei era. We had women riders now for several series in a row, but this will break that rend. I'm a bit sad for that, but it's much better for the narrative that Sachika was not a rider. She was an awesome support character and exactly what Shouma's character needed, a pseudo big sis that actually loved him. On a different note, Lango's actions are weird here. Maybe he planned to split up the Kamen Riders so he wouldn't have to face them all at once. But given what he's seen them do, I'm surprised he did what he did. He could have even lied about it and set up shop in another town altogether. The narrative needs Lango to be defeated, but it's a bit odd how it's happening. Though I get the suspicion that Lango actually wants Shouma to defeat him. He respects/prizes strength and Shouma has clearly shown himself to be the strongest left.
