It's more of a fanservice special using King Ohger actors and cameos from other sentai actors, specifically Kyoryuger, Ohranger (Power Rangers Zeo) and Kyuranger. It's skippable since you won't truly appreciate the other fanservice. Incidentally, beyond all the other things Toku does so well, when they turn on the fanservice, they really lean in. And it's awesome. They've got crossover specials all over the place.

Toei didn't plan to invite Yayoi actress back due to how busy and tight her schedule is, but she basically ask to comeback after hearing Daigo and Utchy actors coming back to voice their character. As for King-ohger in space, it's a low stake fan service story to expand on King-ohger universe, letting them meet characters from Kyuranger (sentai star war basically) and Oh-ranger. It's not necessary to watch since you won't be able to appreciate the call backs

I have some kinda Mandela effect because in couldβve sworn the Descendants appeared in this movie in their actual colors lol Also in terms of King Ohger In Space, you donβt *need* to watch it, itβs a crossover with different Sentai who have space themes/uh.. idk another word but yeah. It does explore what the King Ohgers are up to Post-series
