Added 2019-09-04 02:29:38 +0000 UTCI think this was in Muffintop 4, but I can't remember for sure. The little imp cat spirit was going to be black originally, but I didn't have time to do zip tone on this & she just melted into the shadows, so she ended up as white. The actual idea of this was much more long and complex, but the time constraints, plus my lack of skill always hampers the execution. If memory serves I had just gotten out of the hospital when this was coming due, so I was in a rush, which is normal for me anyway. The final two images aren't canonical parts of the comic, but more like an idea of where it was going. The final image is repurposed art from another project that I had never intended to show anyone else. A lot of Alex's expansion adventures have some level of origin like that.
Anyway, after Alex eats the spirit it bonds to her tummy & causes her to eat more & more. Obviously getting larger & rounder until Maddison accidentally figures out how to get the spirit out of Alex. Although in the end Alex & the spirit find they actually like each other & make plans to get together next Halloween.

I remember this one, my first Muffintop Purchase. Loved it and it's why I kept my eye out for when you were in those.
