2023-07-22 05:54:17 +0000 UTCThe first alien reveal is burned into my brain as one of the most unnerving scenes I’ve seen in a movie. Just a silhouette of a human-like form standing on a roof, seemingly staring right at you from a distance. Night did a good job of spiking your heart rate with minimal exposure to the aliens. I’ve seen a lot of horror movies but this movie gave me the heeby jeebies more than most. Got a little cartoonish at the end and a lot of the plot points are questionable. It did theorise in the movie that the aliens weren’t interested in the planet, but they wanted to harvest humans. Which would suck for them as were also mostly water. All in all a good movie and a lot of different emotions woven nicely together.
