Movie Poll: Drama!

Last weeks winner was 28 Days Later and I will be watching it over the weekend, and it be released this upcoming  Thursday!  Since Scarface lost by just 2 votes I will be adding it to  the schedule  and it will be uploaded in about 2 weeks.

Until then, here is this weeks new poll!

Remember, you can vote for more than 1 movie, and dont worry if the movie you voted for doesnt win! because dont forget, I do 3 movies a week ;)

with such a strong showing i hope to see Rain Man in "two weeks" or so. 😉 but please 1917 (2019) too. 🙂

YoureMrLebowski

Yes! Glad to see The Last Samurai Is getting its time to shine on the Dasha chan! 🥰

James Hawkins

The Mist (2007) would be a great movie to watch you watch.

YoureMrLebowski

Dasha, Marvel's Secret Invasion started today in Moscow! Please watch for your own enjoyment. 👍

Steve Pool

Soo excited for this one! Have to say have you seen that the comedian Bert Kreischer released a follow-up movie to his story in Russia "The Machine"? It's for sure on my list, never imagined him doing a movie with the story :D .

Josh Herbert

it's not that bad compared to a lot of other sad movies. Def not as sad as Green Mile or Hachi, but it depends on how you yourself empythise with the story. It's so good and I think everybody should see this oscar performance. it's actually based on a theatre play and you can see how they bring some of the theatre like vibes into the film. It's well done.

James Hawkins

I want to watch it, but I hear it's just too damned sad.

Chris Bordeman

Good point.

Chris Bordeman

I agree, The Whale is actually one of the best movies on this list. Hopefully Dasha will watch it someday if people keep talking about it.

James Hawkins

A shame to see The Whale doing so poorly. I guess most people haven’t seen it yet. I still don’t know why it took them like two months to get it from theaters to streaming when people don’t go to theaters as much nowadays. Anyway, you’ll love it, Dasha!

Jeff I.

@MR Yep--- need to get a group of "Seven" up in here...

Chris Carman

Let's get some ROMANCE kickin'.* That's a genre we haven't really hit too much--- well, other than "Casablanca," obv. (& DiCaprio on a sinking ship.) Y'know, some "Sophie's Choice," "Say Anything," "Star Is Born," "Officer and a Gentleman," "Unbearable Lightness of Being," "Bonnie and Clyde" (crime crossovers count!), "Knocked Up" (GOOD rom-coms should count!), even "Walk the Line"... Yeah, I know it's mainly a music drama, but that climax is as romantic as it gets. *I mean, if you dudes really luv Dasha--- as much as I DO! (Aw right, okay, I just felt like goin' there today... :D)

Chris Carman

Dasha is great at catching the little details and whatnot that I have noticed during reactions, in the month ish time ive been around. They do a good job at explaining Samurai in the movie and what it means and such. I dont have any worries about how Dasha would interpret the meaning of the film or what Samurai's meaning is. I actually am surprised to know other people took it to meaning "whitewashed" Those people really must not pay attention lol xD

James Hawkins

Yeah, "samurai" is both singular and plural. It's referencing the group.

Mark Rude

Hey Dasha, if you do watch The Last Samurai, please be aware that the last Samurai is NOT Tom Cruise's character, it's the actual Samurai he learns from. A lot of people have complained that role was "whitewashed." It wasn't; they're just dumb.

Chris Bordeman

Rain man is my favorite movie

Andy Jaxson

The Last Samurai is long overdue for sure! Also it might make for a fun mashup for your vids xD

James Hawkins

"The Whale" is criminally underrated and is going so far under the radar by many for how amazing that movie is, considering Brendan Frasier got an Oscar this year for his performance in it where he drew in emotion from his real life to tell the story. I hope it gets watched one day by Dasha or she makes an executive decision to react to it weather it wins a poll or not at a later time :)

James Hawkins

3 hours into the poll and i think we have a winner 🥇

YoureMrLebowski

Hereditary (2018)

YoureMrLebowski

The first four movies are all good.

thomas king

Denzell Washington and "MAN ON FIRE"

Phillip Elbert

I feel like you’re super overdue for “The Last Samurai”. It’s a beautiful movie. You’ll love it. ❤️

Paulo_Maximus

"Her" is SO topical, given it is literally about to become reality. There's even a company selling an AI girlfriend app!
