Since Bill & Ted looks like it's going to win, I'll just note that the Metrocenter Mall where part of it was filmed is going to be torn down soon. They had a goodbye celebration May 21 and they showed 'Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure' as part of the sendoff.

The movie is hilarious...and quite painful at times as it also savagely points out how humanity is marching towards oblivion. So grab yourself a cold can of Brawndo along with your fave snacks, sit back, and give this one a watch...and then immediately follow it up with a re-watch of A Beautiful Mind to restore a little bit of faith in our species.

Although MiT is funny on its own and pokes fun at the Robin Hood mythos in general, it's most directly a parody of Prince of Thieves. A lot of the jokes will land even better if you watch that one first.
