However, I don't know if I'm cool with Kev reverting back to a villain for now. Either way, I'm curious to see where UA goes with this.

2025-06-02 00:45:40 +0000 UTCThat's not a theory, that's exactly why Paradox said that (that episode is the episode where they were trying to find Aggregor when he had all 5, ep 10). He even told Ben not to lean on the time barrier in that episode. Which Ben did and it caused young Ben to appear. And why Paradox wasn't surprised about anything when he appeared at the end of ep 6.

2025-05-29 01:58:25 +0000 UTCI think that paradox knew what the outcome was when Kevin made his decision to take the energy of Ben’s ultimate omnitrix, because during the episode I forgot which one but it was around when aggregor just went into his ultimate form, there was a scene where paradox had told Kevin to remember who your friends are. Maybe that hinted to what’s happening now since Kevin is now outta control he has to remember who his friends are. That’s my theory maybe I’m looking too much into it I’m enjoying this series.

2025-05-28 18:21:20 +0000 UTCIdk the show runners really wanted to capitalize on Nostalgia once again because of OG Ben 10 with Mutant Kevin. And it’s the reason Classic Aliens like Four Arms and Canonbolt (also another one can’t say) are even back in the first place because they are fan favorites.

2025-05-28 17:45:17 +0000 UTCI think it’s less anti-climatic than it originally seems once you realize that Aggregor technically won in a way regardless. The Ultimate Kevin arc is by far my favorite part of Ultimate Alien and has some of the most serious moments in the entire franchise, with some of the best episodes of UA. Also, since Ultimate Cannonbolt appeared here, I wanna give my two cents about how he’s the one ultimate design that imo people unjustly call “lazy”. The Ultimatrix’s special function simulates a forced, unnatural evolution on the species as if they had adapted to extreme conflict and environments. The Arburian Pelarotas (Cannonbolt’s species) are already extremely defensive and durable species, so I think that the extra armor and spikes were literally all the simulation determined that they needed because the species was already that survivable. It sucks the “Big Tick” episode in OS states that their species is now rare and dispersed since the tick consumed their planet.

2025-05-28 16:21:35 +0000 UTCThis is one of the main reasons why I consider this season to be a part of season 1. I disagree that it’s anti climatic, they never won against Aggregor. It felt satisfying that Kevin got the final blow on him since their stories were kind of connected. I wouldn’t believe if normal Kevin got the blow. And Kevin talking about the powers making them lose control is a subtle foreshadowing. And I love how young Ben gave the idea to Kevin since young Ben still had the mindset that Kevin isn’t good. And also I found myself loving this Ultimate Kevin arc more than Aggregor’s arc. Yes Kevin’s new form is just called Ultimate Kevin. Or at least that’s what the fans called them I believe.

I kinda love how Kevin was evil again, and you will too when this goes on (trust me, there is 1 good thing coming up that you will absolutely love) I hope i didnt hype it too much 😅. But i totally get your opinion. Have only seen the description so i might just read it thinking too much 😅
