The reason why I think Ryuki is the better option is because it doesn't have any crossover movies with other seasons' Riders. It technically have one with Kamen Rider Agito, but it's just a short extra episode and it's the dream of Ryuki, the main Rider, so you don't have to watch it at all. It doesn't even relate to the main series. Also, Ryuki, imo, is very good with the story telling and the pacing, you can feel the early 2000s vibe TV show from this season. If you can tolerate the cheesy CGI and the quality visual of Ryuki, then I think you will enjoy this season. Btw, a fun fact, since W/Double onward, Kamen Rider start having crossover movies with the past Rider in the winter movies. Seasons before W only have a summer movie, which is usually a parallel timeline.

2025-03-22 19:48:22 +0000 UTCAlthough Build is the best series ever, I recommend you should not watch it this early because it is TOO good, and you might feel the other seasons after this kinda underwhelmed. Also, Build has a very good crossover movie with past Riders, which need you to watch the seasons of those past Riders to fully know what is happening. I think Ryuki is the one you should go for after Geats. But in all honesty, Build is completely fine for you to watch next.

2025-03-18 16:32:41 +0000 UTCsince you mentioned it, yuya takahashi (lead writer for geats) did in fact act as lead writer for ex-aid, as well as zero-one. build's lead writer, shogo muto, hasnt done any other tokusatsu and mostly does regular TV dramas, while w's lead writer, riku sanjo, also wrote the sequel manga (that had an anime adaptation) called futo P.I. as well as kamen rider drive and zyuden sentai kyoryuger for tokusatsu content
