Since I seem to be the guy who leaves useless trivia, here's this: Prince Farquaad (sounds like fuck-wad) is said to be based on then Walt Disney CEO Michael Eisner, the ex-boss of Shrek's producer, Jeffrey Katzenberg. This is also why Farqaad's castle is based on Disney Land. Eisner (6'3" tall) once said of Katzenberg (5 ft) “I think I hate the little midget.” This is why they made Farquaad so short. The lesson is don't piss off creative types or they will mock you in a children's movie.
