Heatblast’s fire isn’t like natural fire on Earth their species can control the temperature of the fire they produce from their body when they send it out. It also is to explain why Heatblast’s doesn’t engulf things in fire immediately when he walks into a room full of wood or something. They also made Heatblasts flames slightly a little more yellowish so you can tell what’s regular fire (the regular is more orange) and what’s Heatblast’s Fire looks like to tell the difference between them. Fun little attention to detail they wrote in I didn’t notice until years later. He of course can still absorb and Fire Bend if you will Earth Flames because their kind is naturally drawn to any kind of flame but typically if you see him shoot or produce it off his body in some way it’ll have a yellow tint to it
