Pretty much everyone was just as surprised as you when he showed up here. But a lot of stand up comedians end up being good actors since acting uses a lot of the same skills. It’s generally agreed that in acting it’s harder to be funny then it is to be dramatic that’s why a lot of comedy actors end up being very good at drama but a lot of dramatic actors can have trouble being funny. In acting one of the most dramatic scenes is playing a death scene. So in acting there is a famous saying “Dying is easy, comedy is hard.”
