2021-12-07 22:43:37 +0000 UTCA suggestion for your polls I was born in 1960 so MY idea of when "classic" movies were made is MUCH different from your idea of when "classic" movies were made. The first motion picture that had a narrative, which is what we mean when we say "movie", was first shown in Melbourne Australia in 1906 and told the story of the notorious Kelly Gang a band of Australian outlaws. How about asking for movie suggestions for movies made before 1970. If you want to watch and react to what I think of as a "classic" movie check out All About Eve. If you think Arnold Swartzenagger's Ahl Be Bahk is a great movie line...All About Eve gave us the line "Fasten your seatbelts...it's going to be a bumpy night"
